The fall season provides wonderful opportunities to
explore vibrant changes in color in addition to the beautiful bold rocky coast.
This is an wonderful time to visit Maine. Not only do you experience the dynamic
rugged coast of Maine but the trees, blueberry fields, and grass fields come alive
with color. The light is starting to soften this time of year providing
interesting contrast and heightened detail and color opportunities with the
foliage and the shoreline. Every season has its own magic and treasure in imagery
that will be enjoyable to shoot.
Warm days and cool nights provide amazing clear and rich
blue skies during the day and beautiful star filled skies at nights. Take a
short hike and find yourself surrounded by trees showing off their colors, leaf
covered trails, and abstract images filled with color from the foliage
reflections in the water. The less intense light of fall also allows for
slower shutter speeds, which provides opportunities to soften the flow of water
or experiment with the movement of the trees, leaves, grass, and water.
Come explore Maine with us during this beautiful time of year.
