Spring in Maine is a great time to
photograph the changing seasons as warm air battles to move out cold air
providing interesting weather patterns that create great photo opportunities. There
tends to be a wider range and variety of weather and backdrops allowing
opportunities to capture unique scenes you might not be able to get other times
of year. It is still cool during the day and can bit a bit cold in the morning
so make sure to pack a jacket. But with this range in temps comes the variety
in clouds, light, rain, mist, and magic. The sun arrives early in spring and we
will plan to be outside to set up shooting by 4 AM. Be sure not to miss the
best part of the light show during sunrise. With that effort and commitment
comes great rewards for those who make the effort.
